Which Catholic Bible is Right for Me?
Books of the Bible | USCCB
How do I prepare for the inevitable knock on the door? Almost every American home has one. If you want to be a better Catholic apologist, here is where you should start. The easiest way is to follow the order in the text: Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Beginning with Matthew, set aside a fixed amount of time each day until you get all four Gospels read. Plan to read slowly, but not too slowly. Some people take only one verse at a sitting.

You take a trip to the local Barnes and Noble or a Catholic bookstore, and the clerk directs you to the Bible section. Which one is best for a Catholic like myself? This one looks good, but is it worth it to pay more for it?
