Luis Leguia was also a boating enthousiast and while sailing with his friends and hearing the sound af the water against the composite hull of his boat, began dreaming about combining this with his other passion. The high strength of the carbon fiber composite renders the typical cornices of the stringed instruments to obsolete. Cornices are the reinforcements of the instruments structure, often decoratively formed in the shape of curles or waves. Omitting these extra parts, leaves room for an even better sound.
