APHRC is committed to generating an Africa-led and Africa-owned body of evidence to inform decision making for an effective and sustainable response to the most critical challenges facing the continent. The purpose of the training is to equip a group of APHRC staff with public speaking skills to enhance their capacity to effectively deliver ideas as they engage with different stakeholders partners, donors, policy makers, conference participants, colleagues in diverse settings. The training is intended to take four days, of hours each. The assignment will be for a duration of 15 days within a period of about 2. APHRC conducts policy-relevant research on population, health, education, urbanization and related development issues in sub-Saharan Africa.

They have a lot of causes to support as well. To be able to do that, they need to write a proposal for their projects so it can get the funding it needs.
Water supply and sanitation in Zambia is characterized by achievements and challenges. Among the achievements are the creation of regional commercial utilities for urban areas to replace fragmented service provision by local governments; the establishment of a regulatory agency that has substantially improved the availability of information on service provision in urban areas; the establishment of a devolution trust fund to focus donor support on poor peri-urban areas; and an increase in the access to water supply in rural areas. There are still around 11 million people who lack access to at least basic sanitation.
